Sorry for the delay, but I’ve been trying to get all the pics uploaded to save time on the back side for each of the posts to come in the future. Normally the field there is a boneyard, where airplanes go to die. But Evergreen has a large facility there doing maintenance and conversions. I was showing the daughter around one day last week. Certifiable. The absolute middle of nowhere! This is the lake bed that the shuttle uses when it has to divert from Florida due to weather. It is resurfaced by the winter rains.
