It is what it is. This is 38 years ago. Not funny. I was the first male member of my family on my Dad’s side to formally graduate from high school. And no, I did not have to shave! The Missus. Pat, Brian, Me, The CO(I don’t remember his name) Amanda in front. In the [...] We said farewell to Rod at Falcon Maintenance on Friday evening at Coach’s in Rosamond. The sort of official watering hole for all at Edwards AFB. The Missus made a cake just for Rod. It blew him away. He was constantly thanking her. A good time had by all. We shall miss Rod but know [...] Tomorrow marks the twenty seventh wedding anniversary of Me and The Missus Old Retired Petty Officer. Or in Buck Speak, The Second Missus Cassel! Yeah. She has put up with me that long They ought to give her a medal. Love her to death. Through the good and the not so good. Moved her at [...] Yeah, I know I’m the last one to post this but better late than never Happy Mother’s Day, Mom! And thanks for everything you’ve done for me Six Months in the Desert. Already. Time Flies? Especially after fifty. Was out of work after February 26. Got notified of being accepted for a position at Edwards AFB the middle of July. Got all the paperwork done. Physical-Check. Got delayed. See next. Started out with Jeff and Kath last August or so. Then came [...] As I’ve said, my brother Rob is in town for a few days We didn’t spend much time together yesterday as he was rather tired from the drive up from San Diego. Yeah, he lives in Prescott, AZ but his V.A. docs are in San Diego so he goes back there a few times [...] Well, what else would you expect when my brother shows up in town with one day warning ? I’ll be out and about for a bit with him for the next couple of days after work – he’s heading back on Saturday. I’ll try to keep up with some posts, but I can’t guarantee anything [...] Folks, I can’t say how much I love this video. I may not live up to these standards all the time, but I do try. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve seen people freak out because of something like a power outage or a cut finger for example. They have no idea how [...] I don’t quite know why I’m so tired right now, but I sure am. It was a long day at work, but this is a bit more than that.
