So, it’s been a bit busy and that doesn’t appear likely to change anytime soon. My last day at work was supposed to be June 1, 2012. Was. My now former employer made me an offer I really couldn’t refuse last Thursday. They said I could make that my last day and they’d pay me [...]  A couple shots from just before the services for Lex at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery. It was a beautiful day. The service was very nice indeed. The flyover by the Hornet and Kfir was most excellent. A large number of folks were not bloggers but simply enjoyed reading Lex……and who didn’t? I also managed [...] I found out that I’m going to be a father back in the beginning of January ( ) and I’ve been pretty busy since then. Yes, that’s why I haven’t been posting very often lately I know the next questions are going to be who’s the mother and when’s the due date. Cindy’s the [...] And it looks like I’ve finally caught up to December My brother came up to visit on my birthday and it was nice to see him He was also kind enough to bring up my birthday and Christmas presents. Birthday presents like the tool kit he gave me and the wind deflectors for my [...] From last night. Due to certain things we did it all on Xmas Eve. And waiting on the smart *** comments about Grandpa. I know they are going to happen. I hope everyone else’s Christmas was a fun and crazy one with family. It’s still Christmas Eve, but I’ll be at work tomorrow from 0800 to 1700 so I wanted to post this tonight I haven’t had too much in the way of Christmas posts this year and I think that has to do with things like massive flooding in California. Let’s get a bit of that [...] The two littlest ones! Gianna just turned three on the twentieth. Piper will be three on the twenty fifth of January. Well, as I said my plans for Thanksgiving dinner with Cindy’s sister Missy fell through. Thankfully, I have a place to go that’s got a few good memories associated with it – Margaritaville It’s been quite a few years now since Cindy and I first dined at Margaritaville. The place had only been open for [...] Going to Oceanside. Time with Jerri, Hector and Ashlee. Computer stays behind. I will have pictures when I get back home. In addition to the visit, I will post ones of my recent(last night) acquisition. That being a 2006 Nissan Titan King Cab pickup. Finally pulled it off! The Missus gets her PT back full [...] |
