Today was a good day - It was the first day of the New Frontier Armory grand re-opening after their recent expansion Guido made sure there was always enough pizza for everyone and they did their best to keep up with the unprecedented crowds. I’m used to seeing this store busy, but this was [...]  Let’s face it – Guns are expensive. It’s a fact of life that I find truly lamentable in light of the variety of firearms I would love to purchase. Yes, some guns are more affordable than others, but it’s not like anyone’s just giving them away, right? Actually there’s a huge list of firearms giveaways [...] Today was a very good day – I got to shoot my new rifle for the first time I posted a picture of it Sunday night after I took delivery, but I wanted better circumstances for any further pictures. The Clark County Shooting Park worked out pretty well for that and a little help [...] This past week was long and busy at work. I put up a few posts, but was mostly out of steam for editing and posting pics although I did take them. Time to catch up Monday – What a day. Seriously busy at work and I was just too tired to do much of anything [...] So I get an AR-15 on Sunday and what should I find online by Wednesday? How about a way to add some serious fun to the gun without any permanent modifications? Converting my semi-automatic AR-15 into a full-auto machine gun would be a seriously bad idea. I had to go back today to put another one of my rifles on consignment and I was there when it was sold. Because it was early enough, I was able to complete my plan… It’s [...] So yesterday was my 34th birthday. I thank everyone here for their kind words in the comments on my last post I didn’t do anything really special like a fancy dinner or drinks on the Strip. I figured I’d go down to New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms and hang out with some friends [...] Saturday was a very fun day I managed to have the chance to shoot machine guns and suppressors twice in one month This time it was Vegas Shooters who got together, but I’ll tell you both they and Nevada Shooters know how to have a good time I don’t know who was responsible [...] I don’t know about the rest of y’all, but I wasn’t really in a mood or in financial shape to do much shopping on Black Friday. Rather than go out and deal with crowds in the normal stores, I stayed home for most of the morning before heading over to Infinite Arms / New Frontier [...] |
