It’s been a while since we’ve had a “last post of the day” and it seems like a pretty good time for one tonight I’ve posted lots of Buffett stuff here in the past. This one’s one of those tunes I turn to in times when work and life in general start getting to be a bit much. Today’s one of those days. Cruising through my RSS subscriptions tonight, I found that Notes From The Resistance just posted the video for Gitsum and I figured I’d go check out Hogjaw’s page on MySpace and see what the guys are up to Aside from lots of time in the studio recording their next album, “Ironwood,” they’re [...] Shockingly, this post is not related to Jimmy Buffett or tropical stuff. I know, it’s different and the first time I’ve done this on a “Last Post of the Day” but I’m in a bit of a different mood tonight. I sometimes feel I’m getting a bit old, but maybe I was just raised old fashioned. I’ve talked with several people around the office about music and I’ve been shocked that most had never heard of the groups and performers I grew up watching at the Wild Animal Park during the summer concerts. I couldn’t let this go, not even for a short while. This is way too good I’ve been watching the Federal Government and I can’t help but be reminded of something I heard for the first time back in high school. Most of my readers (whom I know to be a well-rounded and educated bunch) are probably familiar with his comedic melodies.
