Today at Falcon. Just after I got to the parking lot. Got him strapped in and the ladder off. Hot back there. The engine is started by a small turbine that can put out a lot of heat in it’s own right! Ryan up there working hard and the Tech Rep, John having a laugh. There was rain on Mt. Sorry for that, but work this past week was anything but relaxing or invigorating. We had a few outages which meant I was busier than a bartender in Vegas on New Years Eve. After work I just want to go home, decompress, and get some sleep. OK, [...] I would’ve written this last night, but I was a bit busy getting some of the pics for the post I managed to get out of the apartment and do something different and a bit more fun than sitting in my place with the air conditioning on Summer’s in full swing and we’ve got [...] From a hill top at Edwards. I was showing the daughter around one day last week. Certifiable. The absolute middle of nowhere! This is the lake bed that the shuttle uses when it has to divert from Florida due to weather. It is resurfaced by the winter rains. Not too much to blog about this weekend. I’ve just been really darn tired lately. Again, maybe it’s the heat. It’s about 107° and (for the desert) muggy outside. The humidity’s in the double digits I had to get some ammo to someone yesterday, so we met up at New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms [...] I must have been going through withdrawals or something because I somehow ended up back at New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms after work yesterday Never one to disappoint, Infinite Arms had some pretty cool new toys for me to check out Toys like this integrally suppressed MP-5 SD in 9mm This one’s [...] So, I got to have fun with machine guns, silencers, and lots of other loud things on Saturday. What was I to do on our actual Independence Day?
