The Great Salt Lake and Salt Lake City. It was after a rather tasty lunch at Applebee’s with other old War Horses and Sea Dogs. The link is to Old Retired Petty Officer where most of them are. Took a few pictures. Hope everyone enjoys them. I think the mark on the hill in the one is the San Andreas Fault. From checking the maps I can find, it seems [...] Ya know, it seems like I’ve gotten into a rhythm of posting about once a week. I don’t know if it’s that I really can’t stand politics, I’m tired, or I just want to go to sleep after work due to mental fatigue, but I’m runnin’ on empty sometimes. Lately it’s been the thought of [...] Well, it’s been a bit over a week, but I have an excuse – I worked the entire weekend Yes, that’s another sixteen hours of overtime and I’m feelin’ it a bit today. We won’t get into work today as it truly was not a good one. Enough about all that – I’ve got [...] Afternoon randomness from Thursday. A little something for everyone! Saturday. Not much doing here. So Blogging and Linking are the Orders of The Day!!!!!!! Was having a look as is normal. I am a member at this one as I am at F16.net listed somewhere on the right side here. This one is nothing but military aircraft. Fighters, Bombers, Attack, Electronic Warfare, Tankers and Transports. From around the world. Oleg Volk, one of my favorite photographers (with a link to his site on the right ), just published a couple of pictures I took of him while we were out shooting! He was kind enough to loan me his camera and I can’t wait to get more of those pictures edited for publication, [...] I got an email from Infinite Arms on Friday to let me know that he’d just received some cool new items. Yep, it was a shipment of suppressors from Thompson Machine I actually stopped by on Friday, but when I looked at the pictures I’d taken I was unimpressed. A return visit today got [...] Well, it was a busy weekend including Friday. We only worked 10 hours – 0700-1700 for me. I don’t like getting up that early, but I’ll do it when I have to. I managed to get through the day alright and I even got to go to New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms At least [...] Well, another 10 hour day is in the books and I have another one to deal with tomorrow. The 10 hour days aren’t as bad as the 12 hour days, but they’re still no walk in the park. I know people work as many if not more hours in other jobs – I did that [...] |
