Folks, it’s starting to look really grim when it comes to being able to afford to go just about anywhere. My HHR gets decent mileage, but even at 35 miles per gallon it still costs me about $10.00 to go down to where I go shooting in the desert, about $7.00 to get to the [...]  Folks, it’s been a bit of a rough patch lately with all the overtime at work, but it looks like I’ve finally made it out of the woods Yeah, I might be jinxing myself and it could start raining in California again, but I can’t control the weather right OK, so I volunteered [...] Well, it’s not what I’d originally planned for Thanksgiving dinner, but plans sometimes fall through. I’d planned to have dinner at Cindy’s sister’s house. Unfortunately everyone in Missy’s family is really under the weather. Therefore, it looks like I’ll have Thanksgiving dinner at Margaritaville I’ve eaten there on Thanksgiving before and the food is [...] So, I’ve featured quite a few pics over the years of the bridge being built to allow traffic to bypass Hoover Dam. Highway 95 travels over the crest of Hoover Dam and it’s been a problem for years, but it got worse after 9/11. If you want to go from Vegas to Arizona you’ve got [...] I’ll be heading out into the desert for some fun with good friends in a short while which includes a pot luck barbecue around noon Yeah, there’s gonna be pictures and there might be video as well Have fun Yep, it’s raining again. And not only in Vegas. California’s getting soaked. If I end up getting another 30 hours of overtime this upcoming week, I think I’m going to laugh my butt off thinking about the fun I can have with that kind of money I’m thinking I might need a passport if [...] This is the kind of story you don’t hear very often. AT&T Wireless sent me a letter recently which told me that they really weren’t that happy having me as a customer after almost nine years. Confused? So was I at first. What happened was that I was on one of their nationwide plans and [...] Everyone knows I’m a pretty big fan of Hogjaw and their music. What’s not to like?
