It is 48 here in Wichita as I write this. Out in the SW, Garden City is at 36. It is also at a higher elevation than we are. Official field elevation at Wichita’s Mid Continent Airport is 1,300 feet, Garden City is somewhere around 3,500 on the High Plains.
