Yesterday was an absolute blast I know I’ve been putting it off for other reasons, but I will be getting my CCW (Carrying Concealed Weapon) permit in the very near future. For the time being, it’s going to have to be what I’ve got, but I think I’ve got a way to do that. OK, there’s going to be a new group of articles around here when appropriate – “But They Don’t Want You Armed.” I’ve gotten sick of the number of stories that I’ve seen about innocent, normal people who have been victimized by criminals and had no way of defending themselves. The tale of how David Olofson ended up in Federal prison is a long one with many twists and turns. I’ll just hit a couple of the highlights for you. David Codrea is one of my favorite writers around along with Mike Vanderboegh. David runs a blog called The War On Guns as well as being the National Gun Rights Examiner for examiner.com. I got a comment on my last post from Dave which I think deserves its own post. Check out the YouTube video he referenced: I can’t agree more with Susanna Hupp or Penn and Teller on this one.
