From the CBS station in Denver, CO: Another example of the law of unintended consequences. Colorado is going all out on magazine restrictions and they managed to include the Remington 870 which is one of the most popular hunting shotguns of all time.  Folks, I apologize for taking so long to post these, but I’ve either been incredibly busy or sick since SHOT Show. Oleg Volk, one of my favorite photographers (with a link to his site on the right ), just published a couple of pictures I took of him while we were out shooting! He was kind enough to loan me his camera and I can’t wait to get more of those pictures edited for publication, [...] So yesterday was my 34th birthday. I thank everyone here for their kind words in the comments on my last post I didn’t do anything really special like a fancy dinner or drinks on the Strip. I figured I’d go down to New Frontier Armory / Infinite Arms and hang out with some friends [...] Yeah, I’m a bit late on getting this post published. I managed to get a blister on my foot, a blood blister on my thumb, and a pretty good sunburn too. I know it and it’s my own damn fault and no, I wouldn’t change 99.9% of it I’ve spent most of today recovering [...] Yeah, I know I’m running a bit behind and all. I don’t know what did it to me, but I was definitely feeling rather sick on Monday. I was also more than a bit tired on Sunday night when I uploaded these pics after a fun day in the desert. Still, here’s hoping y’all like [...] About a year ago I purchased a wireless keyboard and mouse combo pack at Wal-Mart. It’s been OK I guess – it’s done what I wanted it to. Until lately that is. Some of the keys on the keyboard have become a bit temperamental. Of course, these wouldn’t be the keys I never use – [...] Work today… what can I say about it? Well, if you read my previous post, you probably know about how it went and what I had planned for the short duration of leftover daylight remaining after I left. “Recoil Therapy™” is what I call it. “Recoil Therapy™” involves more than just the wonderful, first hand [...] Today was a pretty good day. I managed to get some required stuff out of the way and do a couple of enjoyable things for a change My first stop was the insurance place to get stuff handled with my new renter’s insurance policy.
