Tonight was dinner time for Ziva this week and I thought I’d take this opportunity to get a few pictures to share with everyone. Don’t say you weren’t warned, Kath If you’ve ever been around snakes as pets or in the zoo, chances are you’ve heard of a snake being “in blue” referring to the [...]  Yesterday was not exactly the greatest day in recent memory, but I’ve certainly had worse. As you’ve probably read, I wasn’t feeling nearly 100% and I actually left work early and went to the doctor The doc looked me over, decided that I didn’t have strep throat, but that it would still be a [...] I’m darn tired again and have to get to work pretty quick, but at least I’m getting Monday’s pics posted I had to go buy food for Ziva yesterday, so once again I ended up at Exotic Pets. I tried to get a good variety of critters on camera and I hope you enjoy this [...] So today it was time to go get some food for Ziva which means a trip to Exotic Pets Sorry, Kath, but it’s not all cute & furry critters this time I do love going to this free zoo where you can even take the little beasties home with you. On with the pictures [...] I’ve got another new tool in my belt so to speak, another arrow in my quiver if you will I’ve (somewhat) figured out geotagging Geotagging – definition: Geotagging is the process of adding geographical identification metadata to various media such as photographs, video, websites, or RSS feeds and is a form of geospatial metadata. These [...] I finally decided to just go ahead and put this in Ziva’s cage on top of the bedding. I was going to put it in when I changed out the bedding, but I forgot. Anyway, this is a nifty little foam “rock” with a couple of caves in it that was on sale for 50% [...] I felt like going for a short drive after work today. I had to go pick up some more food for Ziva, but why not stop by the airport on the way, right ? West Air Aviation owns this star spangled Cessna 150 and it’s the cheapest to rent at somewhere around $60 per hour. [...] Sorry this one’s running late I’ve never seen Ziva come out of the bedding during the daytime before. I thought it was funny to see her head sticking up like a submarine’s periscope No, this wasn’t my idea It wasn’t the first time it’s happened either. I had Ziva out of her cage and she was casually winding through my fingers as I surfed the web. I noticed this snake head coming my way and then coming over the rim of my glasses. I guess she just likes [...] Ziva came home today I made sure to watch her eat to make sure there were no problems with her eating and she had no problems with that at all I paid the balance for her and also picked up a water dish, branch for her to climb on, a screen top for the cage, [...] |
