Folks, I ain’t gonna lie to y’all. This week at work’s been a bit rougher than usual and I’ve just been flat-out tired. There’s still a few more posts to come with lots of pics from the Utah Vacation Saga. I doubt another one will appear tonight what with the root canal I’m fixin’ to [...] Day two of the trip didn’t start too early, but we still had quite a bit of adventure Two things you’ll find in abundance in Carbon County, UT are coal mines and railroads. There was rain on Mt. Charleston, rain to the north, and rain to the east, but no rain [...] It’s that time of year again here in fabulous Las Vegas, NV. The time of year you’d swear you live in a blow dryer. Take a look at those figures and try to imagine them all together. 109°, 12% humidity, wind 20 gusting to 28 mph. Those conditions mean that no matter what, you won’t [...] I would’ve written this last night, but I was a bit busy getting some of the pics for the post I managed to get out of the apartment and do something different and a bit more fun than sitting in my place with the air conditioning on Summer’s in full swing and we’ve got [...] People in Vegas and Phoenix complain about the heat and I don’t blame ‘em. It can get pretty darn hot here. I’ve seen it hit 126° in parts of the valley at times. But that’s still not as bad as it can be in Death Valley! There’s weather.com, but I usually go to weather.gov when [...] Notice to Kath, KC, Pinch, and anyone else who normally lives in muggy conditions – you don’t get to hurt me for complaining about it, either And to think that last week we were at 110° Yes, it’s true – the humidity is the cause of most of the problems, not the heat and [...] No, I haven’t moved or anything.
