This has not exactly been a banner year for my health. First some sort of food borne thing at the beginning of January and now this. It appears I’ve got a nice combination of laryngitis along with a probable case of strep. As you can imagine, this is just a wonderful situation considering my job [...] Hey, I told y’all I’d put up some new material, right? Here’s hopin’ you like it Earlier it was like a cow ****ing on a flat rock! Winter in the AV and The High Desert. Currently 47 and light rain here in Cal City. I was hoping to do the back yard weeds with Roundup and rake/shovel doggie doo today. Such fun plans ya know. Ah well, I will adapt. The [...] It was a splendid day here in the Mojave Desert. Highs in the mid to upper sixties, a very light breeze and sunshine galore! The BBQ was fired up later for a couple of rather nice Filets Mignon. Oh Yes! With lobster tails, too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry for posting these a day late, but I was pretty much busy all day yesterday Sorry for the lack of posting lately, but for some reason I just don’t have much writing in my head by the time I get home from a 12 hour day. We’ve been pulling 12 hour shifts with three hours of overtime – we’ve been getting an hour lunch. Yeah, so the weather sucked yesterday, but I still managed to get out of the apartment I’ve gotta be honest here. I’m happy to have the money, but I’m unbelievably glad I’ve got a three day weekend.
