This couldn’t have happened at a worse time. The massive rains in California are the worst in something like 10 years. They have also translated to the worst trouble we’ve seen at my place of employment in my memory. Wet weather doesn’t mix well with telecommunications and we’re feeling it big time. We’re not exactly [...]  Folks, it’s been a very long week full of all sorts of overtime. I managed to get some decent pictures, I just didn’t have the energy to get ‘em posted. [...] I’m finally getting around to going through some of the boxes in my apartment and I’m finding some pretty cool stuff Just the other day I found most of my patch collection and I was wondering what to do with ‘em… And then I remembered all the space I have on the walls of [...] If you’ve been around this site for any length of time, you should know by now that I’m a fan of just about all the stuff that goes on in Nevada that can be described as “black” or Top Secret. I’ve actually been fascinated with these things since long before I moved to Las Vegas, [...] Yes, I actually did it. I took the eight hours of offered overtime on Saturday, 5 June 2010. As far as I know I didn’t have anything planned and it’s not like I can’t use the money And I’ll still have Sunday off as well Here’s hoping I can save up some money! Yep, I just signed up for another 16 fun filled hours of overtime OK, it’s not really fun, but I need the money At least it’s not until 22 and 23 May As I’ve said, my brother Rob is in town for a few days We didn’t spend much time together yesterday as he was rather tired from the drive up from San Diego. Yeah, he lives in Prescott, AZ but his V.A. docs are in San Diego so he goes back there a few times [...] Yeah, yeah – I know I’ve slacked off on the pics. But I haven’t forgotten ‘em Most are from work, but that’s where I’ve been for the most part. You do what you’ve gotta do and I surely need some extra money You could’ve easily mistaken Thursday for late winter.
