Families of 6 Trapped Utah Miners ‘Waiting for a Miracle’ in Final Rescue Attempt

No fancy post tonight, just a summary and a bit of an explanation.

Summary:

The owner of the Crandall Canyon Mine has now said that he will drill one final hole into the mountain and will seal it up after that. No more mining at that site. He says that this will bring closure to him.

The families disagree with ending the rescue efforts and I can’t blame them. They’re stll holding out hope.

Congress is going to investigate.

Now for just a bit of an eplanation on why the short post. While I feel for the families and I will continue to keep them in my thoughts and prayers, I’ve got a few things in my own life and in my roommate’s life that are taking an emotional toll as well. I won’t get into my troubles here – this space is for the miners and their families.
