Block 52 F-16 Thunderbird Static 68 viewsThis is the first time I have ever seen a Thunderbirds F-16 on static display ANYWHERE. This is one of the new Block 52 Vipers that the Thunderbirds will be using soon. The Thunderbirds have been flying Block 32 Vipers for many years now and parts are becoming scarce. The biggest difference the pilots will likely notice will be the carbon fiber panels at the aft end of the engine replacing polished metal and some more power from the newer engines! This picture highlights the metal tube which carries the smoke oil to the exhaust for that great Thunderbirds smoke.PH_Jeff
